DIY FRENZY.
I recently got my first sewing machine, and being so happy to not be using friends’ machines anymore, I’ve been sewing up a storm. Shopping at Thrift Town, I find great pieces that could use a little modernizing. So fun to take something retro and make it current & fun. It’s almost fall, and there are so many fun holidays coming up, not to mention cooler weather (hopefully!) which means lots of fun outfits & projects to tackle.
There’s a certain level of satisfaction having made something yourself, and when you’re getting supplies at Thrift Town, you’re glowing with pride for much less.
Here’s a couple DIY step-by-step videos we like… Happy Thrifting & Creating… and Happy National Sewing Month!
