Today is National Talk Like a Pirate Day, which is always funny to try. However, we at Thrift Town decided to take it to a whole new level! What started out this morning as a friendly “Let’s see if we can outdo each other” has now turned into a full blown competition to see who can create the best Pirate display. Thrift Town store’s have been submitting their photos all day and now it is time to get the voting going!!

My wife, Akiko, and I really enjoy coming to this store. The employees are kind and considerate, the prices are fair and the merchandise is usually in very good condition. But more than all that, it is a lot of fun!

I would rather vote for a store in my area like San Francisco, but since they didn’t have one, I am giving my vote to Sacto #14 because they are the only store that included more than a few employees and there can’t be only 2 Pirates on a boat. I like the comradere and spirit of the Sacto 14 store for this occasion, even though they didn’t have some of the good props the other stores did. Job well done!
