Luck ‘O the Thrifty

St. Paddy’s Day is just plain fun. It’s hard to take a day with pinching strangers involved too seriously, right? And it’s so easy to get into the spirit of green. Don’t go out and spend $20 on a green shirt that says something sassy on it, when you can get one at Thrift Town for a dollar or two. Here’s just a couple ways we found to help you get in that Irish lovin’ spirit:

If you have a dressy work party to attend, we found all this at Thrift Town:

Keeping it classy while adding in a little fun.

Above is for the guys. See below for the girls in a dressier work environment:

Super classy and chic. Add a pop of green with an overcoat like this,
or with a green blazer paired with dress slacks.
With Thrift Town’s racks meticulously color coordinated,
it’s easy to go for the green, whatever kind of piece you’re looking for.

A little more casual but still pulled together - a basic look with pops of green accessories!
Easy to do and still be in the spirit without being over the top.

His & Hers. Casual, out to party it up with friends…

When we went a few days ago to look for St. Paddy’s day stuff to share with you,
I was looking through the racks, not finding the fun green tee’s I usually see…
Then I realized (of course!) that the awesome Thrift Town crew had
already pulled them all, and had a display up front.

With adult & kids sizes, there were plenty to choose from the other day,
but my guess is they’ll go fast!

FOR ENTERTAINING:

This is a super easy way to add a little color to a table.
Glassware is usually around a dollar a piece,
and the dash of green can be found on the bean aisle for a couple bucks.

Part of the beauty of thrifting is the ability to mix & match around a theme for a cohesive look.
You’d be surprised how pretty your table can be!

A super simple craft you can do with your kids :
get thrifted sheets, pillowcases, tee shirts or cloth napkins in your theme color,
cut into equal sized strips and tie onto a wreath form from the craft supply store.
Once it’s full, hang with a big ribbon.

Go to our housewares aisle and grab a big metal tray. Add scrapbooking fun with decoupage,
then embellish with ribbons, buttons etc. Make it your own!
Hang in the entryway to welcome guests. Also a fun craft project to do with the kids.

Hope everyone has a fun, safe holiday, however you choose to spend it.
Don’t forget our big sale TOMORROW, March 16th!
