So? Is it summer yet??

It is so wonderfully sunny and breezy here in Sacramento, and it’s putting me in a very summertime mood. Being in fashion, I am acutely aware of what others are wearing when I’m out and about, and one of the reoccurring themes I’m seeing these past couple weeks is a fresh stripey nautical look!

If you have little ones, I hope you’re aware of the adorable and affordable kids clothes we have at Thrift Town. I saw this darling one while out at an antique faire - nautical and stylish. This look could be easily recreated at Thrift Town for under $15.

She was just too cute to pass up. The bubble skirt in a great color paired with a monochromatic ensemble is perfect.
And then, not even two days later, I spotted this pair…

Mommy & daughter matching outfits! Precious. Makes me wish I had my own little one to dress up.

Keep your eyes peeled for fun front-button pants or capris paired with a pop of color and some stripey goodness.

Look for pieces with personality, special little details that give it that extra oomph.

and of course, shorts + a longer sleeved top = fun & flirty for summer.
