Tip! This white apron had a little stain. These Clorox(R)  Bleach Pens work great on getting stains off of white garments.

Stylish Retro Aprons at a Fraction of the Cost!

I love Retro and thank goodness that I’m not alone. People today seem to be overwhelmed with very busy lives and an overload of technology, so much so that they are grasping at ways to bring memories of a simpler time into their lives. These Retro Aprons certainly succeed in stirring up those “Leave it to Beaver” images of mom home in the kitchen just waiting to serve you cookies and milk.

Lately, I’ve noticed a lot of Retro inspired aprons in specialty stores. They seem to run about $18-$30. Aprons do come in handy in the kitchen, they keep the cook’s clothing clean and they can be pretty darn stylish too. Not to mention chock-full of details, like beautiful apron strings, hand stitching and smocking! I found these cute aprons (all but the fancy lady who was made by my friend’s great grandma!) at Thrift Town for between .99 cents and $2.99 (Note prices vary). At that price you can afford one for yourself and one for a friend!
