One-of-a-Kind Lampshades

Lampshades can be really fun accents to your home decor. These white shades were found at Thrift Town for under five dollars. Just a bit of paint, trim and a glue gun transformed them into pure fun.

Paint Steps:
1. Choose a color of flat spray paint.
2. Outdoors, spray as many coats as needed to the outside of  the shade.
3. If the color is dark, you may need to spray inside of the shade too.
4. Let dry.
5.Shade is ready to decorate.
6. A plain painted shade with no decoration also makes a fun accent!

Trim Steps:
1. Choose a fun trim. Make sure to measure.
2. Choose the location for the trim.
3. Keep it safe. Don’t put trim near the bulb.
4. Hot glue trim/other items to the shade.
5. Enjoy!
