Wall art / bookshelf in one makes for an interesting functional conversation piece. The only book that you can’t take off the shelf & switch out is the bottom anchor book. Other than that, mix it up, stack ‘em high, change the color palette… and if you’re buying secondhand, you can afford to change it out more!

This project might take a bit of space planning but has a great effect! Add a little interest to one wall of a room by disassembling a book and using it as wallpaper.
