How to get out & DO Earth week.
What are YOU doing to celebrate Earth Week?
We thought we’d give our customers a present: a whole week packed full of sales!
Hope you’ve been taking advantage of the huge discounts thus far this week.

Aside from the week’s worth of sales (!!), we are focused on the Earth this week - preserving it by shopping secondhand, cultivating it (get out there and plant a tree!), and enjoying it. With the weather primed and ready for being outdoors, and growing beautiful and delicious things, we put together a few items to get you started…
Start with a secondhand tv cabinet. This one was priced at only $15.00!
Have it in your garage, or out on the patio to store all the gardening or entertaining items you’ll need.
For entertaining - start with a simple table
& make your way through our departments to create a backyard gathering to envy. Tablecloths & napkins, strung lights, serving dishes, pitchers/decanters, chairs.
We kinda love entertaining - check out our posts on:
- the glassware you need for a great bar setup.
- DIY outdoor lights
- Setting a gorgeous outdoor themed table.
Headed outdoors? Grab a sun hat. (Check out our hat post from last week!)
Our book sections are well-organized so you can find just the help you need to Do It Yourself.
For your tiny herb garden sprouts or big blooming bushes there’s different shapes & sizes
— tall, short, square, round or put your pretty flowers all in a row.
Outfits aren’t the only thing that can look great dressed up & coordinated.
Give your potted plants a little pop with matching lampshades:
Open on the bottom lets your plants drain.
A little weather resistant clear spray and you’re good to go.
Stack your flowers for the season or display your appetizers for a get together-
racks to stack are all over our housewares section.
Flowers grouped in threes and placed at different heights make for a great arrangement
- whether you’re entertaining or just setting up a cute yard.
Here: ceramic cups, a copper bowl and a large wooden candle holder.
Pick a color scheme, and a dash of paint to bring it all together.
Banners & garden signs just further celebrate the color & life in the outdoors.
So get out there and enjoy those sunny skies!
