Gianna from Thrifty Tween Styles created these adorable and stylish arm warmers made from thrifted sweaters she found at Thrift Town! Create your own by following these steps.

I picked out a few and decided to make arm warmers to help keep me warm when I walk to school as it is freezing and foggy in the morning where I live. I went onto Pinterest and found a super easy tutorial on how to create them. I was seriously amazed at how easy it was!

First step, measure how long you want your arm warmers to be. Then cut the sweater sleeves off to that length.

Next, put them on your arm (like you would a normal sweater, as the wrist part of the sweater is essentially staying in the same spot), and figure out where your thumb is going to go. Make a small cut with your scissors for your thumb to poke through.

Finally I turned the sleeve inside out and used sewing tape to make the bottom edge (or top; the part of the sleeve that’s not going on your hand), to create a nice line by folding a small part of the sweater sleeve over the tape.

DONE! I used my mom’s hand as my model so I could take the picture 🙂
