“National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM), is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. To help draw awareness to this important cause and to recognize all the many brave women, and men, who have courageously fought the battle and those currently fighting today, Thrift Town featured several breast cancer displays at various locations.

We also donated to and participated in an annual Think Pink Fundraiser in the Sacramento Area. Our Think Pink Live Auction package was a Lady Bird Thrift Town VIP Experience. (Thrift Town was a featured location in the award-winning movie Lady Bird) The winning bid was $2,000! Thrift Town is proud to support breast cancer awareness and we thank Phoebe Verkouw -The Dress Fiend for helping us with our wonderful auction items!
