PLAID TO THE MAXI
It’s FALL TIME!
Here in California it is just a tad bit chilly, and everyone is doing their best to not pull out
the heavy duty sweaters and go a little crazy about it all. What we need right now are
awesome fall pieces paired with some fall-toned summer pieces to transition us properly.
Overall, I think we all want 4 things from our clothes:
1. To be comfortable
2. To be dressed appropriately for the activity and weather
3. Not spend a fortune
4. And look cute while we do it.
This all-black summer maxi ($3.99) layered with a tied up plaid shirt ($4.99) is just
about the amount of layers the current California weather actually calls for.
These cute little cutout Keds were $1.99 and the perfect simple shoe to run
around town (or in my case, the park) in while still having a bit of style to them.
This creme and gold watch was $5.99 and in perfect condition. Clean and simple,
I can throw it on with most looks to add a bit of class and intention to a casual look.
For around $17, I got a look that is comfortable, casual, pulled together and just
right for this time of year, and I can also easily mix, match and layer all the
pieces as we get into the more legit cold weather. I call that a win!
Happy FALL! xo – Kari
