It’s always hard to choose for each category, but we’ve narrowed it down and already notified the lucky winners. This is what I found while browsing at the Fremont location. You can’t really see the year printed on the heart below the love doves, it’s 1988. I consider it to my treasure for sentimental reasons.

    

This is the same year my husband and I got married, 25 years ago. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I walked passed it. I had to stop and take a second look. It was only $1.99. We’re celebrating our 25th Anniversary in a few months on Oct. 29th. I plan on having this at our dinner party as a decoration on our dinner table.

It’s wonderful when you can find a treasure that becomes meaningful to you and fits so well in your life and celebrations. Congratulations on the anniversary!

It was 1/2 off color tag. Yay! Got them for $10. He always goes off to the shoe section in hopes to find something like this!

Wow, those shoes aren’t easy to find, much less in such great condition! That really is a great find!

I was shopping on the day of one of your 30% off sales, headed — as usual — for the shoes, when a scarf caught my eye. It was big and pink and BEAUTIFUL, and something about the design was very familiar. I had to dig through and untangle a mass of scarves to reach it, but I’m soooo glad I did.

    

There, in perfect condition with a store tag still attached, was a silk Hermes scarf …marked at $9.99! Part of me felt sure staff had already done their research and declared this a fake, or it would have been under glass, but for $7 I decided to take a chance… I bought it and did some on-line research, determining it had all the earmarks of an authentic Hermes scarf, and put it on eBay. A pretty serious Hermes collector snatched it up for a pretty penny and declared it “perfect”! Thank you, Thrift Town, for the thrill of the hunt… and for paying my vehicle registration just in the nick of time! 😉
