Incorporate odd items to decorate a tabletop like no other. I set this "beachy" hors d'oeuvre table with a few unexpected items from Thrift Town along with a few of my own secondhand items. (For this tabletop old buckets were used to serve drinks on ice, and to hold flowers. An assortment of wine and martini glasses were used for veggies & dip and were also used to hold sand and votive candles. A straw hat was used as a chip bowl, a shell to serve grapes, and a beach mat as a tablecloth.) .
