Beachy Summer Skirt

Posted on by Hailey      2 Comments

I love Thrift Town’s linen and houseware section! I always manage to find cool blankets and tablecloths. This time I found a simple white round tablecloth with a ruffle edge. I thought that it would make a cute skirt, so that’s exactly what I made!

Step 1: Fold down about ⅓ of the table cloth.

Step 2: Place a dinner plate in the middle of the fold and trace with chalk.

Step 3: Cut out the semicircle you just traced.

Step 4: Gather some materials to make a waistband. I used an old belt and some trim.

Step 5: Sew together.

Step 6: Sew the band to the skirt.

Step 7: Wear it!

I hope you guys enjoyed my blog,
