Tank Top Remodel

Posted on by Hailey      1 Comment

Summer is in full effect! School is out, the sun is shining and the beaches are packed. A lot of the new cute summer styles are expensive and easy to make so I thought I would make my own version of a top I saw in a store for a fraction of the price.

Step 1: Choose a tank top, preferably one at least 2 sizes larger than you would normally wear.

Step 2: Cut out ⅔ -¾ of the back of the shirt. This can be accomplished by cutting along the seams and connecting the two cuts horizontally.

Step 3: Make a cut from the bottom hem to the top edge of the front of the shirt.

Step 4: Cross the two new panels over your torso, tie behind your back and and wear!

I hope you guys enjoyed my blog,
