Summer is approaching fast which means sun, surf and cute beach cover-ups! Thrift Town has many cute skater dresses that would look great over a bathing suit. I have been wanting a cute romper, so I decided to make one from a Thrift Town skater dress!

Skater Dress to Romper

Step 1: Choose a dress with a cute print and A-line skirt.

Step 2: Sew a dart in the middle of the bottom hem so that the front and back are sewn together.

Step 3: (optional) There was a strap across the back of the dress to keep it closed, which made it difficult to get in and out of my (now) romper. I cut the strap on one side.

Step 4: Sew a snap closure so that the strap can be repositioned once you put the romper on.

Step 5: Wear it!
