MOMMY MONDAY: CHILLY SPRING LAYERS
GIRLY FLORAL STRIPED FLUFFY FUN
If you’ve read any of my prior posts, you know I LOVE mixing patterns and textures,
and today’s thrifted toddler look is no exception. I found a great little dress last
week, and had a lot of fun putting together a look on a rainy day for a friend’s
bounce-house/arcade birthday party.
This is the base for the whole look, and was only $1.99! Super cute little lightweight
dress and I love the edgy zipper detail. Now to brighten and toddler-it-up.
I was so happy when I found these brand new Baby Gap sweater tights almost
a year ago. Sweet pink and white stripes - they stayed tucked away in our
18-24month tub until recently, and they were perfect for a chilly spring outing.
I made this red stretch headband/wrap
from a thrifted $0.99 beanie awhile back.
It’s fun pulling the red AND pink from the flowers for the accessories,
and it really softens the black of the dress and makes it girly sweet.
Just cause you’re all dolled up doesn’t mean you can’t hop
on a motorcycle and crush the boys in an arcade showdown.
That’s my little lady. #proudmom
