Inspired By Free People
I’m very excited to share this weeks blog, as it is inspired by the clothing company Free People. I love the free-spirited, colorful, gypsy vibe that their aesthetic has. With that being said, after finding these pieces at Thrift Town for a fraction of the price I was more than thrilled! When going to Thrift Town, I love rummaging through both the dress isle and the international and costume isle. I’m fascinated by the intense detail, unique textiles, and hand-crafted quality I find in this clothing. During my last visit I found so many pieces that reminded me of Free People’s clothing and the uniqueness it has, however instead of these dresses being $200 they were only $15! Here are 5 of my most favorite styles I found at Thrift Town ~
Delicate Details ~ A natural, earth green shirt with beautifully embroidered, patterns and sparkling, delicate details. Perfect to wear with some coined jewelry, a hat and some denim for a sunshiny Spring day. $5
Modern Bohemian~ I love this laid back, neutral colored bohemian style. It’s cute and comfy, what more could you ask?! $8
Textiles and Patterns~ Pink! I don’t have much pink in my closet, therefore I was very excited when I found this unique patterned top (it was a dress that didn’t fit right so I cut it into a crop top). $8
Flower Child~ I fell in love with this unusual yellow dress that’s covered in this simple, circular, sequin design. It’s flowy and colorful, perfect for the warmer seasons to come. $10
Dripping in Beads~ This was probably my most favorite find. I found this dress at such a good deal! It was only $15 and for the amount of delicate detail and bead decoration this piece has, it should ten times more. It has such an authentic, vintage feel that makes it unique and one of a kind. It’s also very versatile - wear it causally with a suede jacket and boots, or with an up-do and some heels. $15
*When doing this blog I used all my own material, nothing is copied from the company “Free People”, only INSPIRED by.
