My NEW Arrivals
I love my new life in San Luis Obispo but it’s just about this time of the year when I get pretty tired of the steady stream of studying, midterms, late nights at the library, quizzes and papers. I totally needed a break from the grind and what better way to mix it up than to head back home and squeeze in a little thrifted shopping? What’s really fun about thrifting is not knowing what you might find from one visit to the next. My latest excursion did not disappoint!
I was super excited to find a pair of mid-calf strappy suede boots from Portugal. How cool are these?! I wasn’t even looking for another pair of boots but I couldn’t pass these up! The boots are super comfortable and amazingly well made. Add leggings, crazy socks, mis-matched socks, anything goes!
In addition to the boots, I also found a flowy blouse that works well with jeans, shorts or a skirt. I love the jersey material, capped sleeves and lacy fringe bottom. This style is so trendy right now and looks great with just about everything! I paired it with a simple headband, black pants, and my favorite pair of boots….a perfect casual outfit for a fall day!
Another random find was this mix & match shirt. It has stripes on the front panel, black and white polka dots on the back panel and the cutest floral patch that adds a splash of color and whimsy to the front. I absolutely LOVE this shirt! Another plus is that it was only $3.99!
Last but not least, I also found a lacey crochet crop top! This shirt is so chic and stylish. I love the intricate patterns and scalloped edges. You can wear different colored tanks underneath to slide in a little color. Add a boho hat and some high-waisted jeans and all you need is someplace to go. This crochet top was seriously only $.99!!! Seriously?!?!
Okay, it’s a wrap and it’s back to the library for me.

Omg, I need to borrow some of your ‘flowey’ clothes!! None of my clothes fit and all yours are so cute!!!!!!
Thanks Kristi! What’s great is that lace or other contrasting cloth can be added to the bottom of most shirts to add to the flowey-ness!
