These fall boots are meant for walkin’
I hope that everyone is enjoying October and the lovely fall weather we have been having. The leaves have turned the most majestic of colors in Sacramento and it has definitely been a huge source for fashionable inspiration. Many of you may not know this, but Sacramento is the city of trees and it never disappoints when fall hits. The yellows, greens, reds, and orange colors are just magical. I’ve always said that nature is the best form of inspiration. There’s nothing quite like it!
With the fall season fully embraced, I’ve embarked on curating some of my favorite fall colors and quintessential fall pieces: The boot in particular! I hope you like what I’ve come up with and please feel free anytime to ask me any styling or thrift related questions! Tomorrow is Halloween, too! Have fun out there, be safe, and wear something amazing! And hopefully thrifted, too 😉
Look #1 - Aldo ankle boots, Ann Taylor sweater dress (Thrift Town, $9.99 & $7.99)
Grey is one of the best neutral colors out there and a staple in my fall wardrobe. It goes with EVERYTHING and a great warm color. I have a ridiculous amount of grey and just can’t get enough. Ankle boots are great as they go well with dresses and with pants. It’s the perfect day to night shoe.
Look #2 - Hat, cashmere scarf, Express skinny jeans, Express striped top, and Steve Madden leather boots (Thrift Town $3.99, $7.99, $5.99, $3.99, $15.99)
I love love love fall accessories, especially hats and scarves! They are both functional and fashionable. And you can never go wrong with one or 10 pairs of great boots. I may or may not have a big collection of thrifted boots! 😉
Look #3 - 70’s vintage pattern cape and Ninewest ankle boots (Thrift Town $9.99 & $7.99)
I almost died when I found this cape. Like seriously! Isn’t it the most fabulous cape ever?! It is SO fall and has the most lovely colors and chevron pattern on it. It was a match made in vintage heaven.
Look #4 - Leather Bebe jacket and Sam Edleman leather over the knee boots (Thrift Town, $19.99 & $24.99)
Ok, both of these pieces had me jumping for joy when I found them. Leather is such a sleek and fashion forward piece to have in anyone’s wardrobe. I have three leather coats that I LOVE. Honestly, everyone needs to have at least one piece in their wardrobe. This season, over the knee boots are all the rage. These are so comfy and way stylish with all of the detail.
Do yourself a favor and go out this weekend and pick yourself up a pair of amazing boots. Ok, get two pairs! One ankle boot and one knee high! Honestly, in fall, the boot is your best friend and goes with everything. Have a great weekend everyone 🙂
Until next time…
Love,
