A Thrifty Halloween!
I can’t believe that October is half way over. It’s been a whirlwind of a month for me and all of a sudden this week it hit me; Halloween is only two weeks away! As Halloween quickly approaches, look no further than your local Thrift Town for an amazing outfit! The holiday is such a fun excuse to get wear something different.
As most of us can relate to, Halloween costumes can be pricey! With all of the bells and whistles you end up walking away sometimes spending in the upwards of $100+ for your outfit. With a little bit of imagination and creativity Thrift Town has all of your Halloween bells and whistles covered.
I walked in this week expecting to have to search and dig for my looks, but the store was SO organized and had all of the Halloween items out together; including accessories. I was absolutely blown away by the great selection and just how many unused new Halloween packages there were! If you are just looking for something simple and fun, then grab a new Halloween costume like this witch one for $7.99. What a steal right?!
If you are looking for something a little more fun and colorful, be creative and mix and match cool pieces you find while thrifting. I found the outfit, wings, and ears separately. But, don’t they just go with each other so well? It makes for an adorable bumble bee! Add a pair of fish nets to this ensemble and you have the perfect Halloween costume and it was less than $8 bucks!!!!!!!!!!
You can never go wrong with a flapper outfit, I mean who doesn’t love fringe and sequin? This dress was a steal of a deal at $4.99 and the boa was only 99 cents! A flapper look isn’t complete unless you have a strand of pearls. This vintage strand was only $4.99. I’m telling you, Thrift Town is the place for everything Halloween.
Why spend more this holiday when you can get all of your pieces for less than a dinner night out? Heck, we all have $8 to spend! Use the rest of your money to go treat yourself on Halloween! Have fun this holiday and make sure to take lots of pictures of your thrifted Halloween look.
What sorts of looks do you guys have planned? I would love to see them!

You can put together great costumes at this store I’ve been surprised by what was available. You can make yourself look like a famous movie star, or popular monster is so much fun. I’m a volunteer and artist and love painting fabric, and creating special items. I buy a pair of pants or a top for Halloween, and a bag of fabric at Thrift Town. I paint the fabric, with ffabric paint to resemble some costume I’ve seen in the movies. I have a ball!
