My last trip to Thrift Town entailed lots of trying on shoes and being distracted by humorous tee-shirts. The one thing that really caught my eye was a cute blue peasant dress. It wasn’t really my style, so I altered it to better fit my fashion sense!

The first changes I made to this dress were removing the lace and bows, and changing the neckline.

Next, I shortened the zipper and lowered the back of the dress.

The last alteration I did was add a tie with tassels to keep the back comfortable.

I paired this dress with a cute pair of leather fringe moccasins. I found a similar pair at Thrift Town for $6.99!
