Summer Colors

Summer is FINALLY here! I tell you what, the weather here in Albuquerque has been cold and rainy for the majority of Spring and I was not happy about it!

To celebrate the new season, I headed off to my local Thrift Town to find something cute to wear! I mean, why not? Right?! 😉

I snapped a few pics while I was looking around the store for clothes.

Hmm…I don’t think my body is ready for the beach quite yet. I think I’ll just skip that rack of clothing.

Instead, I opted for a TAD more coverage…

I’m loving this simple, easy, COLORFUL Summer outfit! I actually bought these pieces on separate trips to Thrift Town. The first piece I bought was the Ann Taylor chambray tunic top. I have been on the hunt for tunic tops to go with my white Hue leggings. Even though these are not thrifted, Thrift Town DOES have quite the selection of leggings. In fact, one of the very first items I ever purchased from Thrift Town happened to be a pair of black Hue leggings.

I only paid $6.99 for my tunic top because I shopped on a Monday.

Remember, if you are age 60+, you get a 30% discount on clothing each and every Monday. It pays to be old at Thrift Town. Hahaha 😉

On my next trip, I found the rest of my outfit.

Don’t you just love these colorful espadrilles? I know I do! These Coldwater Creek espadrilles are like brand new and totally worth the $9.99 I paid for them! I took the shoes with me to the jewelry counter to find something to go with them. My original plan was to pick out one of the colors from the shoe and find a necklace and matching bracelet. Well, the sweet employee working the jewelry counter found this colorful beaded necklace that had EVERY color of the shoe in it and I was sold! The price for all that color? Only $4.99.

Enough of all the talking, let’s see some photos!

What are YOUR Summer colors?
