VINTAGE FLORAL BABY SURPRISE
Its summertime!! Kinda.
Well ok, it’s June and raining in Sacramento right now. But in general, it’s hot
and that means dressing a bit cooler(and dressing my little one a lot cooler)!
Last week was my husband’s last day teaching for the summer and it just happened
to be his birthday too. So my daughter and I decided to crash his staff end-of-the-year
lunch for his birthday, adorable baby style.
(heading out to surprise daddy!)
There really are few things cuter than a vintage OshKosh B’gosh overall romper
with tiny chubby legs in it. Except if you add white leather sandals and a headband.
I’ve been on the hunt for closed-toed neutral leather sandals for my girl and
had just about given up and spent full price at a shoe store. SO beyond stoked when
I found these for 1/2 off of $4.00 on a sale day at Thrift Town. She wears them everyday!
And as always - the headband is handmade by me, from a thrifted pink tanktop.
All together, and ready to go!
SURPRISE!! We walked in with the baby wearing a big party hat, and holding balloons
and a present. But mostly it was daddy getting to show off his baby to all his coworkers
that really made it fun. Singing, presents, and lots of baby giggles — perfect surprise.
