Chic Draped Dress

This summer, I will without a doubt be spending the majority of my time at the beach! I needed a cute new cover-up for for the Op bathing suit that I picked up at Thrift Town for $5.99!! I bought a cute lace curtain for $2.99 and made a cute, high-necked dress to wear over it.

Chic Draped Dress

Step 1: Select a curtain to use. The more lightweight the material, the better.

Step 2: After sewing a seam down the back, lay the tube flat and cut the corners where your arms will go.

Step 3: Sew a new seam along the top edge so that you can thread a ribbon or cord through it.

Step 4: Choose a cord to use. It will be tied behind your neck, so a stretchy cord works best. I braided a few different elastics to make a comfortable tie.

Step 5: Put the perfect outfit together!

Step 6: The only thing left to do is wear it!

I hope you guys enjoyed my blog!

Wow! You never would have guessed that’s a shower curtain. It looks like it came from a specialty Botique!!
