Mommy Moments; End Table Turned Dog Bed!

Posted on by Gina      No Comments

On Pinterest I found an adorable upcycle project that took an old end table and transformed it into a dog bed. I pinned that pin to my DIY board hoping that one day I would come across a similar end table at Thrift Town. I did…like the EXACT same one It was $12.99! Here’s what happened next…

I decided to leave the top shelf in place as an option for people to store dog toys, leash, etc. It took me a few to figure out what color to go with, but I settled on a gray shabby chic look using a chalk based paint. I will insert a POC (little pop of color) with the dog bedding.

I used this thrifted fabric to create the bedding. This fabric remnant was $2.99 at Thrift Town. I simply took padding and fabric, folded down the edges, then stapled them into place.

Check out the final result! Literally everything you see (with exception of padding used to make the bedding) here came from Thrift Town! I also decided to embellish the doors a bit with some scrapbook stickers.
