Mommy Moments; Winter Fashion Finds
I’ve mentioned before that in the Nielsen household, come January, “The Big Purge” commences. Apparently I went a little overboard this year and accidentally threw out a few key pieces of my wardrobe. When I told my husband I needed to replace some items I threw out, he just shook his head and went out for a walk. Hmm. Disclaimer: I have one of the most patient husbands in the world. He frequently comes home to find that I’ve done things like tile the bar, or ripping out our carpeting. He takes a LOT of walks. Love you honey! Mean it!
So, I decided that if I was going to replace those items, it would have to be for very inexpensive. The thing is, a few of them were blazers and dresses that I typically use on my Thrifty Thursday segments on Good Day Sacramento. I decided to put my money where my mouth is…and headed to Thrift Town to see what I could find for $30 total.
Jackpot!
I found three great blazers, one piece that even had the cropped sleeves I’ve been wanting to purchase for awhile, a pink lined Ann Klein, and a great Alfani leather sleeved zip up blazer/jacket.
I found this amazing Max Studio dress, which looks great under the crop sleeved blazer.
And I couldn’t resist this cozy long Loft navy sweater.
All purchased for under $30!
Pssst…on January 19th, it’s 50% off all clothing in honor of Martin Luther King Day. Let the thrifting begin!
