Thrift Haul Part 2: San Francisco Thrift Town and Happy Fall!
This past Tuesday marked the first day of fall and for the first time ever, I was excited! Perhaps it’s the fact that I’m getting older, have a car now, and have been collecting the most incredible fall pieces this past summer and spring! When ever I find a stellar dress or a pair of shoes I can’t pass it up, even if it’s a sweater dress in the middle of summer. It’s an addiction, I can’t help myself! And when there’s an AMAZING sale at Thrift Town, I really can’t pass it up.
As you remember from my last blog post, I realllllly scored at the San Francisco Thrift Town over Labor Day weekend. The day I went shopping everything in the store was 30% off and I went a little crazy; hence creating part 2 to my thrift haul.
Let’s get right to it folks. I’ll start off by honoring the new fall season with this adorable, new with the tags still on, Chadwicks sweater dress ($12.99 minus 30%) and practically new Ninewest boots. ($15.99 minus 30%) What better way to accessorize in fall? Pair your outfit with a stylish scarf! I’m so in love with these boots and have a feeling I’ll be wearing them a lot this fall.
Continuing with my theme of sweater dresses, I found two more incredible pieces along with a cute tweed pencil skirt. One of my favorite brands is Anthropologie and the long grey dress ($15.99 minus 30%) in the picture below was also new with the tags still on! Sometimes I wonder who these people are that just donate brand new clothes. Well, my gain that’s for sure! The other dark grey sweater dress is Calvin Klein ($9.99 minus 30%) and the pencil skirt in vintage. ($2.99!!! minus 30%) I kind of have a feeling that those new Ninewest brown boots might look amazing with both pieces.
To end part 2 of my SF thrift haul, I found some pieces I think will work well transitioning from summer to fall. First of all, everyone needs a killer pair of jeans and I just so happen to stumble across another new with tags still on Gap boot cut jeans. Regularly $69.99 at Gap, $9.99 minus 30% at Thrift Town! I paired the new jeans with an adorable Blue Asphalt top ($2.99 minus 30%) and a cute scarf. ($2.99 minus 30%) To be a little more dressy or work appropriate I paired the top with the colorful print Club Monaco skirt ($7.99 minus 30%) and white pumps. ($3.99 minus 30%)
As you can probably tell I had a lot of success at the Thrift Town Labor Day sale in San Francisco. Again, if you are ever in the Bay Area pleeeeease make sure to put this store on your list to visit. It’s honestly one of the best thrift stores I have ever been to and that’s saying a lot from this Thrift Fiend.
Hope you enjoyed my thrift haul and I can’t wait to show you some more of my fabulous Thrift Town finds next blog post! Lets just say I found the ‘it’ piece for fall
