Meet Joni:

She is THE most stylish person I know.

I thought she would make the perfect ‘model’ to show you a cute summer outfit from my local Thrift Town located at 3900 Menual Blvd. in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

We headed there on a Monday, when all seniors age 60+ get a 30% off discount on clothing. I also happened to have a couple of coupons for $5.00 off when you spend $15.00. I absolutely LOVE the fact that Thrift Town is always giving their VIP’s extra savings. Yay!

When I walked into Thrift Town the first thing I saw were racks full of summer fashion.

It made my search easier, for sure! They had rounds of dresses, tops and capri pants. After making my way through all of the clothing up front, I headed down the aisles. I loaded my buggies… yes, there were two…full of shorts, skirts, jackets and tops.

Oh, Joni’s here! Time for her to start trying on clothes.

She tried on a LOT of cute clothes. Her discarded clothing was quite popular with the person in the next dressing room…just sayin’.

Here is some of the cute clothing she purchased:

Those are Loft capri pants, and a Caribbean Joe Hawaiian print top. She wore them together to work…CUTE! Along with a pair of gray shorts and those two tops, she has some options.

Did you notice the back of the shirt reflected in the mirror in the first photo? I didn’t even plan that…am I good or what?!

The white shorts are Jones New York. The asking price was $5.99. I asked to speak with the manager, and pointed out the dirt and stain to her and she discounted them to $2.99! See, it just goes to show that you can get a discount at a thrift store…you just need to ask! The top is Coldwater Creek. ($7.99)

Let’s take a closer look at the shoes.

I spotted these Coldwater Creek espadrilles ($4.00) right away, and knew they would be perfect! They were 50% off.

That necklace? It’s Chico’s and it was only $7.99!!! The set of bracelets were also $7.99 and the earrings…$1.99. Notice how we mixed metals? That’s very on trend. The total cost of this look…under $26.00. That’s crazy good!

So there you have it…a summer look just in time for the start of Summer!
