Beyond Bed and Bath!

Ever want to stay in your pajamas all day? I certainly do! I found some very cute things that would normally only be worn in the house and made them into everyday attire!

The first was this brand new Victoria’s Secret bodysuit with original tags still on! I put a black skirt on over it (also from Thrift Town) with a sweater and got a cute outfit that I could wear out!

Bodysuit: $2.99

Skirt: $3.99

I also found a very cute bathrobe for $2.99 that I thought could be worn out with a bit of improvement.

Tassel Robe

Step 1: Find a cute robe that you would like to use.

Step 2: Choose some tassels with colors that coordinate well with the robe.

Step 3: My tassels had a thread connecting the side that I wanted to hang freely so I cut the bottom thread off.

Step 4: Sew the tassels along the bottom hem and ends of the sleeves of your robe.

Step 5: Wear your robe proudly!

These pajama pants ($1.99) needed a makeover too!

Pom-Pom Shorts

Step 1: Choose a pair of pants.

Step 2: Cut the legs.

Step 3: Make sure they are your desired length.

Step 4: Using a bowl or anything round to mark a rounded edge on the side of the shorts.

Step 5: Cut the rounded edge and the seam on the side of the shorts.

Step 6: Choose some pom-poms that match the fabric well.

Step 7: Overlap the seam on the side and sew the pom-poms around the legs and up the side seam. I also replaced the bow on the waistband with two tassels that I had left over from a previous project.

Step 8: Wear your shorts!

I hope you guys enjoyed this week’s blog!
