DIY Sundress!
Sundresses are my favorite thing to wear in spring and summer! When I was little I would wear them all the time and not much has changed since then! The problem is that cute sundresses can be hard to find. If you make your own sundress, you can look adorable AND save tons of money!
What you need: Pencil, scissors, sewing machine and a dress 🙂
Step 1: Find a bargain priced dress. (I found one at Thrift Town for $2.99!)
Step 2: Lay dress on a hard surface
Step 3: Mark desired length with pencil or pen.
Step 4: Fold dress in half and use scissors to cut to desired hem length. The hem can be longer in the back than in the front OR it can be shorter on the sides. You pretty much can do what you want with hems these days. I cut mine straight across.
Step 5: Hem the dress using a sewing machine
Step 6: Rock your new DIY Sundress around town!
