ADORABLE IN OVERDRIVE.

There are few things cuter than a doting dad and his daughter. As a stylist, I get to work with so many different kinds of people for so many occasions: music video styling, wardrobe overhauls, putting on big fashion shows, local designer events…

Getting to style a family shoot is so fun and personal. And this shoot - especially sweet. Little Scarlett LOVES her daddy. Single dad Ryan is an skilled artist & carpenter, and Scarlett is his world.

In putting together a lifestyle shoot, the clients bring themselves, and we bring the rest. I usually rent props for my clients because they’re all so hyper specific, but now that we’re styling lifestlye shoots as well, I figured I needed to invest in some basics to always have on hand.

So after meeting with the excited dad, we headed to Thrift Town to start gathering props.
