Frolic In Fringe

Posted on by Hailey      1 Comment

I’ve noticed an increase in fringe skirts and dresses lately, and I love a great skirt. Rather than buy expensive fringe dresses and skirts for upwards of $99.00 retail, I thought it would be a rad idea to make my very own skirt with fringe!

Fringe Skirt

Step 1: Find a skirt (or tube dress) you like. I bought mine at Thrift Town for under $5!

Step 2: Measure how long you would like the solid part of your skirt to be.

Step 3: Draw a horizontal line across the skirt using chalk. This is how tall your fringe will be.

Step 4: Draw vertical lines on your skirt from the bottom hem to the chalk line that you just drew. How far apart you draw your vertical lines will determine how wide your fringe will be.

Step 5: Cut on the vertical lines, but be careful not to cut past your horizontal line!

Step 6: Frolic about in your fringe skirt!

Hope that you guys enjoyed my blog!
