NE-ON TO SOMETHING GOOD.

What colors make you look disgusting? You know you have them. And you know you totally still buy them sometimes cause it’s on sale, or it fits well or you just really want it to work.

First rule of thrifting: don’t buy something that isn’t awesome just cause it’s inexpensive. (That actually applies to any clothes shopping, but it’s just a lot easier to do while thrifting). That being said, I was desperate a few weeks ago, and had zero tops that fit my baby bump, no time to shop and only a couple bucks to fix that.

I went to Thrift Town and the only top I could find in 10 minutes that fit everything I’ve got was neon yellow. Uuuhm…. I’ve never worn that color. Cause honestly, who wears neon when they’re not going to an 80’s party? Crap. This girl. So now to make it work.

Neon tank is obviously going to be the highlight (pun intended) of the outfit,
so everything else needs to take a chill pill. The black leggings ground it all a bit,
but if you do ALL black with neon it looks too harsh.
This grey/denim looking blazer does double duty: tempers the crazy yellow a bit
and also adds a bit of structure to an otherwise ALL comfy (like pajamas comfy) look.

Then to dress it all up a bit: Accessories are all silver,
since the grey & yellow are cool colors (warm colors you pair with gold).
