Mommy Moments New Year’s Eve Table Decor
My swinging from the chandeliers and dancing on top of bars type of New Year’s Eve celebrations ended a little over 12 years ago after the birth of my first born. Funny how parenting has a way of reshuffling your life deck! However, I cherish my quieter (well, as quiet as a house full of super excited, sugar high kids will allow) New Year’s Eves, and typically host two celebrations during the day; the kid one at 9pm when the ball drops in Times Square EST, and the real one with my hubby at midnight PST.
This year I am going to set a table for two for our New Year’s Eve celebration using a clock inspired coffee table I have in my house. I made this piece using an old thrifted end table and used clock I found at Thrift Town. I literally glued the pieces together and created a fun piece for my living room. This is going to make a great foundation piece in which to build my table setting.
If you don’t have a “clock table” you can also use a collection of clocks to form a centerpiece around your dining room table or spread them out along a buffet or mantle. Here’s some great inspiration shots I found on Pinterest, most all can be easily recreated using thrifted items:
