It’s that time of year again, to bundle up everyday and embrace the cold air. Thrift Town has a variety of jackets and sweaters to keep you warm depending on if you’re going out for the evening or just trying to stay cozy. I strongly believe that no one can have TOO many jackets or sweaters during this season because layering becomes a key factor. Here are a few outfits I put together to create different styleS that hopefully inspire your winter wardrobe :)

ALSO check out my special DIY Christmas Gift idea at the bottom of the page!!!!

The Coziest of Them All!-

This furry festive jacket is one of the most expensive things i’ve bought at Thrift Town, lucky for me the day I bought it all pink tags were 50% so i got it for $10 instead of $20 :) Considering how warm it is and easy to pair with boots, leggings, a scarf and beanie, it was worth every penny!

The Vintage Look-

This jacket was probably my best bargain yet! Guess how much you think it was?! You’ll never guess… 99¢ !!!!!!! Crazy, i know and so very worth it. I usually wear this Vintage jean jacket with a plain tee underneath and some sort of Thrift Town flannel tied around my waist with converse or sneakers. With this outfit layers are important and on the plus side the more layers, the warmer you’ll be!

The Corduroy Black Jacket-

Who can go wrong with a black jacket? This jacket goes with just about everything! Its perfect for layering because its on the looser side. A Thrift Town flannel, black leggings and boots are perfect to complete this simple look. ($4.99)

The Classic Beige Jean Jacket-

Now this item was found in the mens section, which is where I find most of my fabulous things! I was stoked when I found this because I had been looking for a jean jacket and this was the exact style i wanted. It is also big enough to wear sweatshirts or flannels underneath (as you can tell, flannels an obsession of mine). ($9.99)

The Cream Button Sweater-

This sweater is slightly cropped with light brown buttons down the front. I love wearing it was high waisted jeans, leggings, and scarves. It’s so simple and such a versatile color that makes life easier. ($3.99)

Lastly, The Striped Sweater-

This oversized sweater is so easy to wear, just throw on a pair of leggings and you’re set! I like the length of this sweater, it hangs longer than the cream one. The stripes are a deep maroon, which is a great color for the winter. It was found in the “Better Clothes” section for $7.99.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST…….. The DIY Christmas Gift!! In 4 easy steps!!

The Gingerbread Maple Syrup Sparkling Candle!

1. I bought these cute tea cups from Thrift Town for 99¢ ea. then i placed a wick on the bottom center of each of them.

2. Boil the wax (any type works, i bought a tub of the jelly kind) until completely melted and add the fragrance of your choice while doing so. I used the Gingerbread Maple Syrup fragrance for the holidays. You’re going to need glitter for your next step!

3. Lastly, after you pour the liquified wax into the tea cup make sure the wick stays centered. Let it cool for about 10 seconds, then dump the glitter on!! I love glitter so I used ALOT. You don’t need a big bottle of glitter as shown above, just enough to cover the surface of the candle.

4. Light it and enjoy your sparkling, yummy scented candle! This is a great affordable gift for friends, family, and those who especially enjoy sparkly things! Happy Holidays! :)
