With Winter here, it’s time for some stylish outerwear! Thrift Town has everything you need to stay warm for great prices! I managed to find a few really cool jackets that I just couldn’t leave without.

I bought all of these jackets for under $10 each, and altered the denim jacket by adding a few images that I cut out of a few t-shirts from Thrift Town.

Custom Denim Jacket

Step 1: Pick out some t-shirts that you’d like to sew onto a jacket. (Thrift Town sells t-shirts starting as low as $1, and the denim jacket for $2.99.)

Step 2: Cut designs/images out of t-shirts and figure out your placement on the jacket.

Step 3: Sew Designs onto the jacket!

Sewing tip: It helps if you use iron-on adhesive tape between the jacket and t-shirt to help keep it aligned when sewing.
