Happy Thursday, Thrift Fans! Here at Thrift Town, we love hearing from you, our loyal and thrifty customers. It’s so great to see pictures & hear the stories behind the treasures you find and the creative ways you incorporate them into your lives. Thrift Town’s quarterly “What a Find” contest is a great way for us to show off what you all have sent in and celebrate thrift together.

As always, it was hard to choose for each category, but we’ve narrowed it down and notified the lucky winners. Whether it’s shopping for a child, getting creative for a pet, or a keen eye for a potentially high-end find, our winners show off what we love about shopping secondhand at Thrift Town. I found this sheer designer scarf by Ralph Lauren at the San Leandro Thrift Town.The large scarf has beautiful bright red, blue and white stripes with the signature Ralph Lauren crest.

Here is my sweet old dachshund, Mary. Her little legs don’t carry her too far on walks along with the greyhound, so I got her a stroller at TT Carmichael for $5.99 (dog strollers are over $100, easy!).

I tied a leash hook to the seatbelt and we are good to go. There is not one single time that we don’t get a smile (or a laugh) from someone on our walks and she totally loves her stroller! Enjoy! - Christine

My son loves to build anything, but what he loves most is building cars and trucks that do something. So when I found the item below for $3.99 I was excited - it was brand new and still wrapped in its original shrink wrap.

I was even MORE excited when I saw how much it was selling for on Amazon ($96-$150)….I’m saving it for my son’s birthday. I’m sure he’ll be excited!
