The DIY “V” Neckline

|| THE DIY V NECKLINE ||

I love this DIY project because it can be done on any top whether it’s a tank top, tee shirt, sweatshirt, or turtle neck! For my blog today I’m using a cute plain black crop top and a white SF sweatshirt. I loved both these tops when I first got them but now I’ve lost interest. This is a great way to turn the just “okay” items in your closet, into ones you absolutely love! I’ve seen this “V” neckline in almost every store like Urban Outfitters, Forever 21 and LF. It’s such a cute design and so so simple! All you need are a top and some scissors. 🙂

Cut a triangle out with scissors -as low or as little as you’d like. Keep the neck collar intact as part of the shirt so cut right under that seem.

This is the same process with a sweatshirt! I made this triangle smaller because I didn’t want as much skin to show.
