TINY STATEMENT NEUTRALS.
COLOR BLOCK.
It’s fun to play with bright color and put together splashy attention grabbing outfits… but sometimes, creating interest with pattern and texture is a more sophisticated and subtle way to show off your style. Even for little ones.
My little Miss loves dressing up for church and seeing her friends.
New lil buddy Pupup (she named him) got to come for the fun today.
This is one of my favorite thrifted pieces I have for her - the perfect neutral.
The ruffles, bow and raised polka dots make it anything but boring,
while still keeping things simple & bright white.
Here’s our statement piece: not thrifted, but it’s an adult’s headband that was
super cheap at the drugstore. I simply measured it on her head and tied a little
knot in the elastic at the back. The soft gold & black are delicate and eye
catching without being loud.
Bringing in the gold of the headband, these lil sandals
were $1.49 and just so sweet with their little rosettes.
So sweet.
We paired all the creamy gold & white with thrifted dark denim leggings ($0.99!),
put her on the couch in her room and threw a furry friends party!
With a discerning eye, we thrift almost all of her stuffed animals
(simply throw them in a pillowcase and wash with fabric softener and tumble dry).
Overall, this is a sweet girly look that can easily be switched up with a
colored headband and shoes. That’s the joy of neutrals! Hope it’s
inspired you to rethink your secondhand looks.
Happy Thrifting, everyone!
