Save your money and the environment with zero cost wrapping for the holidays!

Is Santa busy with wrapping presents this year? Dont go out and spend dollars upon dollars in wrapping paper that ends up just getting thrown away in the end! All you need to wrap your presents this year is right in your own home! All I used was paper grocery bags that I’ve collected through the past few days and turned them into my own unique masterpice! I’ve decided this year to wrap all my presents this way and not only does it help the envirmonet by recycling all those paper bags, BUT it also makes a great, unique, thoughtful, one of a kind gift. You can use these bags to wrap presents, baked goods, birthday gifts and much more!

The process is really simple and allows you to get as creative as you’d like! To start of I turned the grocery bag inside out so that the label and logos wouldn’t show, to look like so:

Then to flatten out the wrinkles and dents, I ironed it flat to make it look nice with sharp edges:

Next, all you need are markers, some sort of decorative fabric, and a hot glue gun to write “Merry Christmas”, “Happy Holidays”, or even “Happy Birthday”! I drew a snowflake and added some fun ball detailing:

Then, if you don’t want to give a present in a bag, you can also use the bag as wrapping paper to wrap around the object (using newspaper is another option):

I wrapped up a shirt with tissue paper first then rolled it up in the paper bag and tied a ribbon on each end and let some of the tissue show. Then wrote to and from!

Enjoy saving money and the environment, and happy wrapping!!
