Merry Thriftsmas!

Thrift Town has something for everyone this holiday season! From clothes to toys to wreaths, they even carry bows to decorate your wrapped gifts! During my last trip to Thrift Town, I found some awesome graphic tees and a flannel for my dad.

These are the cool graphic tees that I found at Thrift Town, starting as low as 99 cents!

Who wouldn’t love this Corgi tee and flannel? My dad seems to be having fun with them! (Flannel was $7.99!)

I also purchased a plain white tee-shirt to make a tree cutout on the back.

Tree-Shirt

Step 1: Pick out a tee-shirt.

Step 2: Cut to desired length.

Step 3: Cut collar out of tee (if desired).

Step 4: Cut sleeves (if desired).

Step 5: Draw a design on the back of your shirt. (If you’re doing a circular design like I did, a dinner plate works very well as a template)

Step 6: Cut out the negative space (or shaded space as I drew mine).

Step 7 (Optional): Dye your shirt (I used Rit brand dye) to give it a little more pizzazz. (I accomplished the white ring around my tree using a rubber band.)

Now you’ve got yourself a tree-shirt!

I hope that you guys enjoyed my blog and have an awesome holiday season!

See you next year!
