It’s Dr. Seuss’ Birthday and we at Thrift Town pretty much adore the imaginative legacy that he has left to the world, and are taking this Friday to celebrate him, by celebrating YOU. We carry unique products and thrive on the uniqueness of our customers. Very few other companies can reach such a wide array of people from so many walks of life, ages, backgrounds and interests. It’s pretty amazing the things that you as our customers are inspired to do, make and enjoy based on what you find when you walk though our doors.
Ironically, it seems Dr. Seuss had a bit tighter grip on reality than most and was able to convey it through fantastical, imaginative prose. The Lorax is one of our favorites, as we feel that it isn’t about making things bigger and bigger and using more and more, but rather looking at the things we already have and utilizing them. Secondhand is such a beautiful thing, and as a secondhand lover, you in turn are able to create a story that’s unique to you.
So this Friday (TOMORROW!), take an extra 30% off all clothes and celebrate your individuality! Buy that piece that is a little braver than you might normally go, and embrace your YOU-ness!
